We had a wonderful overnight at the Sheridan. Large well-appointed room and very friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Attention VMI Parents

This hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. A great restaurant, it is so close to VMI. You can walk there in a few minutes. You're right in town so that you can walk around, see all of the shops. It's very quiet at night. We got a reservation here by chance for VMI Parents' weekend 2008, and already made our reservations for parents' weekend 2009. We met several other families that have done the same. It is a small hotel, so you have to act quickly! I definitely recommend it.

the location is terrific. you can park your car and wander about town. the italian resteraunt across the street is wonderful.the room was large and comfortable. we had lunch at the hotel resteraunt and it was very good, especially the sweet potato fries. i would stay ther again.
