Four Points by Sheraton Tempe, Tempe

This is not the bang for the buck. Room smelled and was run down. Disappointing experience. General manager is rude to guests and staff members.

I stayed at this hotel for my birthday, and I honestly couldn't have been more disappointed. The first room that we were assigned to did not have a working air conditioner in Phoenix, Arizona in the middle of the summer. Needless to say, we were forced to switch rooms due to inability to sleep in the heat. Once we did switch rooms, our air conditioner STILL did not work, and smelled like it was smoking. Also, their “complimentary breakfast buffet” was NOT complimentary as advertised; it was $10 per person. As far as the quality of the food on said breakfast buffet, I would have rather gone to Waffle House, which is really saying something. Finally, I was charged more than I authorized on the purchase of this pathetic breakfast buffet.

I travel a number of times each month and have experience with other Four Points hotels. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel in Tempe. I picked it because my normal hotel was booked, but I will return. It seemed very new and the staff was friendly. Again, more than I expected.
