Interval World-get away
I paid for 2-extra nights preceding a week long getaway package. The resort is nice although parking near your unit might be an issue if you have a car. There is a parking garage available. There is a shuttle to the strip so you might just need transportation from the airport. I came to Vegas to go to a class South of town so the location near the airport served me well. There is the occasional aircraft noise heard in the room. Internet is extra or you can get some free at the Denny's on the resort property. Morea - good for 1-2 persons and maybe some smaller children on the fold out couch. Bora Bora - same as Morea for the persons. The Bora Bora is a deluxe room and is very nice. There is room for 6-8 persons to socialize in the livingroom and kitchen. Maybe 3-4 persons could socialize in the Morea. There are many social lounges and places for larger groups to hang out including a BBQ area outside the tower 5. If I went to Las Vegas a lot, I might consider it for a time share; I did not ask about the pricing. For Interval International members it is a good resort...it worked for me any way.

Great place to stay!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/18/09
We have bought 2 different units here. We have been back twice and can not wait to go back again. The property is immaculate, and the staff courteous and friendly. The pool area is absolutley gorgeous and relaxing. Yes, you can here the planes from the airport when you are outside, but when you are inside you do not here them at all. This is a great place for kids or grandchildren. The Mahana Spa is a great new edition as we enjoyed a couples massage and did not go bankrupt!! In the lounge in Tower 5 there is a terrace on the 10th floor with a magnificent view of the strip. The on site store has almost everything you need. There is a shuttle bus that will take you to the grocery store twice a week and shuttles that take to to the Tropicana and Treasure Island. No need to rent a car.I can not say enough good things about Tahiti Village.

sorry I bought this
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/09
The sales people did a fantastic job selling this to me, aferall I won five free trips and several other prizes...all of it NOT true! There are NO free trips and the other prozes did not materialize. I live in MIchigan and this is in Las Vegas a little hard to go back and tell them what scam it all is. I was told how easy it would be to re sell this if I ever needed and I fell for everything, I am a pretty smart person and I have no idea how I got caught up in all of this. I have no idea how to sell and will probably never be able to afford to use it, all I do is pay the monthly bill to save my credit so I won't loose my "home" when I have to refinance in a few years...if I only could do it all over and if I can possibly save anyone from the same mistake please read what I wrote, it is not worth what they tell you and no one wants to buy your mistakes :(

Awesome!
By Melanie, 06/21/09
Wow! Tahiti Village is done! The lazy river is in and was the highlight for our kids on this trip! It is nice to have the lazy river close in proximity to Tower 5, which is part of the finished Phase II development. The sandy beach entry in the main pool was still a favorite and my kids made many friends there while building sandcastles. The whole resort is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. I especially enjoyed the washer and dryer in the new Phase II rooms. They seem much more efficient that the original rooms. It would be nice if the balcony could be extended over to the main master bedroom, but we enjoyed it anyway, just couldn't when the kids were sleeping. The hot tub was nice to enjoy at night and I appreciated the fact that they made that part accessible for adults 24-hours a day. Tahiti Village has also extended their shuttle service with 4 shuttles and now stops at Tropicana, Circus Circus, New York, New York...(add). Wiki Wiki is the convenience store located on the property. Prices are fairly good...considering its convenience. Only $3.95 for a 1/2 gallon of milk. Tahiti Village added a spa this year called Manaha. While we did not have any treatments, prices seemed competitive and the spa itself looked gorgeous. One suggestion I have is to either add more tables to the pool area or add more chairs to the barbeque area. It seems that when we were there, a lot of larger families like ours were utilizing this great feature, creating a chair shortage. Only 6 tables were available in the immediate barbeque area with only 4 chairs alloted to each table. No extras were stacked or available, which created tables with no chairs. We tried to eat in the pool area when the barbeque area was full, but there were very few tables in the pool area. One other drawback was we couldn't check out any barbequing tools from the front desk since they were all checked out. It's funny that we barbequed two days in a row and no one we saw there had utensils either. I wonder who had them! Our room overlooked the lazy river and part of the Vegas strip...ahhhh! We can't wait for another week to come next year!

As far as a place to stay its ok, a very nice facility, although i was disappointed they had no free internet. we paid way to much and now they want to sell us another week for twice what we paid. never sign up for tour. bus transport good. they need more gaming, only have 5 or 6 slots in bar. it is las vegas. we will sell at a deal if anyone interested. need the money, took big hit in stock market.

Beautiful, Quiet, Enjoyable
By Elizabeth, 03/08/09
My husband and I used his cousins time share at Tahiti Village, everybody was very plesent and helpful from the time we checked in, until we checked out a week later. We had no problems really with them wanting us to take a tour of the place, since i was under 25, which i was happy about, It is located close to the airport, but you are in your rooms you can't hear them, and at night you don't even notice them. The shuttle came in handy so you don't have to pay for a taxi to go to the strip and back, unless it's after 11pm Mon-Th, they don't run then( But it only was about $12 from MGM to Tahiti by taxi) Over all i had a good time, If you go to eat at Tahiti Joes, the food is good, but it is there all the sales people hang out, and don't expect them to hold a door open for you, or stop doing their make up in the bathroom so you can wash your hands... so like everyplace there are a few quirks, but over all i definitly enjoyed my stay. P.S. the cleaning people dont come to your room everyday, we were there Sunday-Saturday and they came once.. but they do give you lots of towels, and if you need more you can call down and get more.

Beautiful place
By Dona, 02/19/09
We loved how beautiful the place looked, we almost bought, but when we went out side to talk it over, my husband and myself, we found that it is right in the flight path of the airport. There was big planes flying over and we could hardly hear ourselfs talk. We decided not to buy and went to the Grandview where it was more peaceful. I know things could not have changed since we were there in 2007, due to the airport was going to be expanding.

Tahiti village review for labor day week
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/08/08
We just got back from the tahiti resort in vegas so i thought i needed to write a review to give the resort a fair shake. After reading so many reviews that were bad we thought maybe we should not go. The day we arrived at the resort we were in line behind a couple that didn't look to happy. They told me don't take the welcome package because if you do they won't leave you alone. So when i go to check in a young lady told me to go to the desk across the room to get my welcome package and i told her no thank you. After that the whole week there i had no problem. The resot is in a great location not to far away but not to close .IT has a beauitiful pool and the resort was very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would go back and stay again.
