got less than what I paid for
By tariqsyed88, 8/23/10
August 2010 - Rented a 3 bedroom cottage with AC and baby crib Got a very small 3 bedroom cottage, it was so small the crib could not fit in any of the bedrooms, unless furniture was removed from bedrooms [this was the advice of the front desk - the next day], in the end the 4 month old baby slept in the bed with Mom, not a safe situation, Mom did not sleep that much with baby in bed instead of the crib Small AC unit was only in the main hallway so the bedroom doors had to be left open, turned out to be a a really expensive 1 room cottage, with dad snoring in one room and others listening from other rooms through open doors, tried to open windows, not helpful. Minor things: ceiling fan wobbled significantly, kettle was full of black corroded stuff, shower hot water went cool a few times during use and some walls were painted plywood with a few nail tips exposed on top of all of this they insisted on charging us 2 nites stay for a 3 nite stay after we tried out one nite and were terribly disappointed with the accommodations and complained.

Frequent Traveller - Inferior Accommodation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/31/08
First of all I like to travel alot and try out new hotels, motels and resorts. This is the first time I have ever written a bad review. Cabin #42 - carpenter ants, leaking fridge & kitchen sink, one burner on stove messed up, inferior TV and substandard beds. Management did not ask how we enjoyed our stay and when I mentioned the problems in the cabin they didn't want to hear it and went as far to try to intimidate me by stating that nobody else had any problems. That was not true because another guest had complained on another website and they responded to it. Seems like an intimidation tactic so they don't have to refund money for substandard accommodations.
