Bali Taman beach Resort & SPA, Bali

This is a lovely friendly beach front hotel about 5 mins by bemo from the main part of Lovina. It's quiet and beautiful location gives you a sense of what Bali might have been like back in the "70's. On one side you have rice paddies where you can watch the locals doing what the balinese have done for centuries. The food was o.k. but I would not eat in the hotel except for breakfast if I could help it - there are too many cheaper and tastier places to eat in town. We had one of the family suites that was around $85US(incl breakfast) a night - great value for 4 people. The rooms were spacious and we all loved the way that the staff would roll the towels into dogs complete with frangipani "eyes". The sunsets are spectacular and were enjoyed every evening from our balcony. Though out of town we never had any problem getting transport to and from the hotel. Highly recommended for people who want a Bali holiday at a slower pace.
