Embassy Suites Tampa - Downtown Convention Center, Tampa

Stayed here for the Justin Beiber concert with my family. Staff was super attentive and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. We ate at Trolley's located in the hotel. Food was really good a little bit of a wait but was worth it. Located directly across the Forum so for what we needed this place was perfect. Would recommend to stay here anytime.

I have been traveling to Tampa quite a bit lately for business, and over the past two months, I have given this hotel three tries. I will not be going back. During each of my three visits, something has interrupted my sleep. Twice, it has been a malfunctioning fire alarm. The first visit, the alarm went off in error for 1/2 hr. late one evening. During my last visit, the fire alarm malfunctioned continuously for nearly 5 hours--until sometime after 2 a.m.! It was unbelievable to see hotel management so ill-prepared to deal with something that--based on my earlier visit--was a known issue. In between visits with the fire alarm issues, I was phoned late one night by the front desk manager who was confused about who was in what room. If you want a good night's sleep, head across the street to the Marriott or trek a few blocks away to the Hyatt. I've been staying at one of these two hotels and they've been great.

Well I never actually stayed there but me and my friends were at the convention center playing volleyball and walked over to starbucks which is in the hotel,so we started to ride the elevator it is really nice 20 floors glass so fun,pool heated it is on the 3rd floor. it is so cool that in the elevators u can choose to see out or in and the staff is so nice they did not mind at all. looked in the rooms too giant flatscreen tv soon as you walk in,bistro is tasty.

The hotel is close to everything of interest. Within walking distance of the aquarium, port, and movie theaters. Very clean and quiet. Complimentary breakfast was excellent, and definitely worth waking up for each morning. It was difficult to locate though, and a lot of the streets around there are one way, so one wrong turn and you are screwed. Definitely worth the price, staying here will help make a great trip.

We have stayed at other Embassy's and this is by far the best one ever. The staff are so nice and helpful. Anything we asked for was no problem at all. We were asked how our romm was by almost everyone we passed. The free drinks at the managers reception were better than any drinks we paid for on our whole trip! Bartender super nice, and the greatest breakfast! We cant wait to stay here again.
