Velas Vallarta Suite Resort All-Inclusive, Puerto Vallarta

This hotel is so beautiful we just had to come back. The food is all that we remembered from before. Our friend who came with us is a very picky eater and he loved the food too. They are so attentive to your every needs. The Aqua Bar Staff also just caters to you. Gilberto is very good look for him. His motto is “Everything is Possible”. Very personable. Wonderful Cheeseburgers. Even the Hot Dogs were very good. Very relaxing vacation. Loved the room. Loved the view. Loved the pool. Loved the people! The only problem was the little rocks when you got in the water at the beach. Next time I’ll bring my water shoes. The water isn’t clear like Cancun but the waves were fun and the water was nice. They have many Cabanas on the beach. Big Koi Fish swim throughout their little streams at Velas. The gardens are beautiful Can’t believe the person that put in the review with complaints. Every one of the complaints were not valid. That must be an unhappy person. If they were unhappy they should have said something because they bend over backwards to please you. The vendors on the beach weren’t bad. Yes they wanted you to buy but they know the word no. They are just trying to make a living too. We got a great deal on a dress that was a better deal than we got downtown. Memorable Sunsets. Take a romantic walk on the beach. The buffet was fantastic too. LaRibera is a wonderful Steak House with a great menu. Andreas is more formal and has a different theme each night. You don’t have to wear pants though like at Casa Velas across the street. Bring pants for the guys and enjoy the indolence of elegance at Casa Velas. It’s a beautiful hotel too on the golf course. If you can get a tour you will want to stay. They have a Beach Club too that is beautiful. Wonderful Thai Cuisine. Of course their presentation is beautiful. The property has a small pool and of course pampered again like Velas can do. What I like about Velas is that it’s for everyone. Honeymooners, Lovers, Friends, Families, College, High Schoolers, Young and Old can relax and enjoy Velas…..Not a lot of single people but the staff take you to a different night club every night. We enjoyed the nightlife at the bar in the lobby. Wonderful food at the Mexican Fiesta too. Beautiful Costumes and dancers. Great drinks too nonstop all week long!!!! We are now owners because we love this place so much. Can’t wait to come back home to Velas!! That is just how you are treated!!!!

This is our 2nd visit at Velas Vallarta. This time as owners. We loved Velas that much that we became owners when we were there last time. We love the all-inclusive. We got a 2 Bedroom Suite because 2 of our friends came with us again. Beautiful view. Very relaxing Vacation!!! The food and the service again was above excellent! They have the best Cheeseburgers anywhere and we mean anywhere. We got the Mongolian Stir Fry almost everyday besides all there great buffet items or what's on their menu. This time we went over to Casa Velas for dinner. Don't forget men bring pants to wear. The dinner there was absolutely delicious too. They now have a Beach Club for Casa Velas because it's not on the beach. They serve Thai Food and it too was excellent. The view there is beautiful. They have a small pool with a Jacuzzi on each end. It wasn't as hot in Puerto Vallarta this visit as last time. It rained almost every night. But so what. That's why it's beautiful there. Beautiful sunsets every night. They constantly groom the gardens. They plant flowers and bushes constantly. It is beautiful. The Iguanas were swimming with us too. They just squirm in the water then get out and then just sit there for the longest time. Don't miss the Mexican Fiesta usually on Sundays. Every night there is a different theme at Andreas Restaurant. Great Chilean Wine. Call in the morning for reservations. The food there too is fantastic. Gabriel plays the piano and he is great. All the staff at Velas are there to make sure you are taken care of. If you are interested in the timeshare take advantage of it. We got 2 massages out of it and we had them at the tents by the beach. Wow it was wonderful just hearing the ocean breaking on the beach. We just loved the service from Francisco, Marceleno, Omar in the La Ribera Restaurant. Great Iced Tea too. Gilberto was our Pool Server at the Aqua Bar. Brought our drinks and knew what we wanted everyday. It is true like another reviewer said, Gilberto's motto is "todo es posible" "Everything is possible" He was so attentive. Even when we playing cards and they wind came up, he brought over rocks for our cards.(I brought them home) Francisco too remembered our drinks too. Shima the Pool Bartender was very good too. Make sure you try our favorite drink, Melon Liqueur, Rum, Pineapple Juice, Coconut Milk. We had this last time we were there but the bartender that invented it wasn't there anymore so if Shima or Gilberto are there ask for Juanita's especial(my name) or tell them what's in it. Great Guacamole and salsa with corn and black beans. Even their Pizzas are great. At night we went to the bar in the lobby. Juehli(not sure) was so good. She knew our drinks every night without telling her. The Mariachi group was the same group that was there a couple of years ago. They play in the Andrea Restaurant too. Great music and Great voices. Every night a little different and fun. Luis Miquel is also friendly. He sells fishing trips but he is just very friendly and no pressure on what he does. We didn't do the City or Cultural tour this time but do take advantage of it. They are great if you haven't done them. Very interesting and fun. We went to town for shopping and went to the same little bar we went to 2 years ago in a little flea market called, “Taco Loco” $2.00 Cold Beer. They cut the coconuts and make drinks out of them. Beautiful Gauze clothing in the little Flea Market. Anna paints what you want on the clothes too. Great shopping too all around this Flea Market and a bigger one down the street. They have some beautiful clothes in some of the little shops too. Great family fun too for kids at Velas Vallarta. Can't wait to go back next year. Wish we could go next week!!!!
