Don't Go. They don't hold reservations.

My wife booked the most expensive room in the inn three months early as a romantic getaway for us. Having two small children the need to arrange overnight sitters does not afford the opportunity to get away much so we needed to plan early. We received a confirmation and called to verify on the morning of our stay. We were told that we were confirmed for a late check in. When we showed up at the inn to our surprise someone was already in our room. They had reserved the same room one month after we had. Apparently they don't bother to check for double bookings.
We were told that the business manager was on her way to come talk to us to resolve the situation. When she arrived she changed her mind about talking to us and hid in the back of the inn. She had all of her communication take place through their head waiter. There was some lame story about her not being dressed appropriately to talk to us. We were told that for some strange reason we were emailed a cancelation for the room, even though we booked first, but amazingly they could not find the email they knew was sent.
We were then sent home and told that an owner would contact us. We'll see if that happens. We were out time, gas money, and the expense of an overnight sitter for our children; while the inn was guaranteed to be booked with their airline like reservation practices. They have a seven day cancelation policy that guarantees them the price of one night for cancellations made less than a week early, I would like my zero day one night refund from the inn.
Do not go there.
