Disappointed

My family waited for weeks to get a reservation at Gulf Waters. There was a delay in confirmation of reservation because of recent ownership change. We finally made contact and had reservations for Aug 5th thru Aug 8th. They mistakenly made reservations for the weekend before, and we were marked as "no shows". Hardly accurate. We arrived at the facility around noon on Friday, Aug 5th. I asked about the limit of the number of people per RV. I was told the limit was 6. I asked if I could pay extra if we went over the limit. I was told the limit was 6. No exceptions. I changed the number of people staying in our RV to four. My extended family would have to stay at a nearby hotel. I was told by new management that they would not be able to honor the reservation. I asked why, and several times I, and in a later conversation with my husband, we were accused of sneaking additional people into our RV in the middle of the night. I was threatened with immediate eviction if we were found to have too many people staying in the RV. Accusations, threat, refusal to honor reservation, additional accusation made to my husband in the presence of our two daughters. No one should tolerate such treatment. Consumers have choices. I choose not to be treated with such disrespect.
