Wow, what a difference

This hotel was owned by a very nice man, the housekeeper was exceptional, and the whole appearance and presentation was immaculate.
The rooms were reasonably simple, the small building was almost floor to ceiling marble, and the swimming pool across the back dining room (yes you had to get in the pool to get out the french doors) was a refreshing surprise.
The beach is just across the small square back lawn, and the owner will happily drive you into Cancun city centre, or to the bus station etc. Also will pick you up from a restaurant/bar and bring you home again.
Everything you could possibly want, just out of the main hustle bustle, with some Mayan ruins only a minutes or two away by foot.
A complete contrast to the fake Cancun, all-inclusive, miles away from the city, hotel zone which most people go to on a package holiday then claim they've been to to Cancun!
