Olde Glenbeigh Hotel (The), Glenbeigh

In the early 19th century, Lord Headley, Glenbeigh landlord, attempted to develop the town's tourist trade. Although the hotel never enjoyed the predicted onslaught of tourist traffic, it has maintained a loyal and steady clientele for close to 200 years. The hotel's quaint bar and lovely dining room restaurant are open to non-residents. From the curtains to the menu, the Olde Glenbeigh's period style dining room is decorated in warm pink tones. There are splendid garden views through bay windows from most of the tables. A roaring open fire brightens cool evenings.
