Don't Stay Here If You Want Quality Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/31/09
On our first day we couldn't get hold of anyone after checking in. No guest services, no valet, no concierge. Our calls went straight to voice mail from both the room phone and the special guest services phone. We had to go down to the front desk and were told they had been extremely busy, but there were no other guests in sight. The following day there was no housekeeping services and both our room keys were mysteriously demagnetized. We pulled up to valet (for which we're paying extra) and there was no one in sight. We had to go in and hand our keys to the desk clerk. The dining room was plagued with pesky flies and the coffee cups at the breakfast service were full of lipstick. The price of the room is not worth the horrible service. I wouldn't stay here again and if this is indicitive of the Lexington chain, I wouldn't stay at any of them, ever. The hotel is centrally located, but the surrounding neighborhood is questionable and we saw some illegal activity and didn't feel safe walking outside of the hotel.
