Pensione Bencista Hotel, Fiesole

We loved the Pension Bencista. It is so very peaceful,and a place to really relax. We had a beautiful room with view of Florence and balcony. We had breakfast in the room so as take in the view,however breakfast is served on the terrace in good weather so all can sit there if they wish. I can see why people come back each year. The common rooms are beautiful and you can relax and enjoy a drink or glass of wine there before dinner. When dinner is served Grandfather rings the dinner bell. The food is actually very good and fresh. The delicious 5 course dinner is 10 euros. That is amazing and it is very good. It is fun to meet and talk to fellow travelors. Do not expect television,but it was a pleasure to get away from it. There is internet access plus two computers so you can check on things back home. It is family run and only a short bus ride to the heart of Florence. I would love to go back.
