Crazyhorse Ranch & Lodge, West Baden Springs

It was very clean well maintained. Dan the owner was very helpful our entire stay and the food is the best you will ever eat any where. we plan to go there again This is a place you dont want to leave.I give this place a very high rating .If you looking for some where to stay in the area this is the place. My girlfriends and I rented a 3 bdrm for the night and had a fantastic time! They grilled us steak dinner over the open flame for dinner and we had a bar to ourselves along with some karaoke, hot tub and home made breakfast the next morning. We had a fantastic time and will definitely go back!!

The ranch is beautiful and the people are friendly……..two thumbs up for this alone. On the property, there are several "camp sites" one of which we rented for the weekend. Unfortunately, camping is not one of the strong points of this ranch. All campers share one individual toilet and one individual shower, and there is no RV dump station or trash pickup that is always provided for campers at campgrounds. Also, the cost to camp is outrageous ……. Especially considering the lack of amenities. Although this ranch has many great qualities, camping is not one of them. The bed and breakfast itself is beautiful and if you are looking for relaxation …. This would be the place for you!

My boyfriend and I were in desperate need of a quiet gettaway. The Crazyhorse Ranch & Lodge was just the place. The pictures on the web did not do this place justice. The cabin and rooms are very cozy, Western style rooms with a modern touch. Western decor, quality heavy wood frame work, tasteful furniture lush carpet and nicely tiled floors. we could tell a lot of love was put into the ranch. The land is vast, very well kept and serene. The horses are so sweet and full of personality. (sounds odd huh- see for yourself) Most "bed and breakfasts only serve what they call breakfast," this place not only serves a full breakfast but dinner as well. The salmon and steak dinner....Mouth watering, "and I said I wasn't very hungry". I ate my food and some of my boyfriends. Dan and Sandra made John and I feel at home. We are planning to return very soon.

Last Summer, my family & I went on a mini vacation. We stayed here in the cabin & absolutley loved it. My mom stayed back with my little brother while Dan and Sandy led my sister, dad, and I through the trails. The ride was 2 hours long and amazing. I was really nervous since it was my first time on a horse but Dan & Sandy were great! Great Food & Great Service. We will definatly be back next Summer!

What was represented as a cabin was simply a room inside the owners house. Advertised as a restaurant to provide meals upon request at lodging; refused meal service as I was told I was too late for dinner (at 6:30pm). I was very disappointed with my stay..felt like I wasted well earned money...

This was the most relaxing, peaceful stay that I would recommend to all! The host Dan was great, anything my husband and I needed he accomodated. He is also an excellent cook, we ate breakfast and dinner at the Ranch it was delicious, the biggest steak I have ever seen and best tasting! This was a great stay for my husband and I and we are definalty going to return at least on an annual basis! Thanks Dan for the wonderful weekend your provided! Your home is beautfiul and is the pefect weekend getaway for any couples looking for a weekend away from it all! Can't wait to return again!

Dan and Sandy went out of thier way to accommodate us when we called at the last minute. The "cabin" was a delight and dinner was delicious. We were made to feel right at home. My daughter and I had a great time. In fact, French Lick has been renamed to "Dan and Sandy's". I'm sure one of our upcoming road trips will take us right back soon.

Spent a much needed weekend with girlfriends at the Ranch. Dan and Sandy were wonderful - denied us nothing and worked around our schedule. Very down to earth types. Peaceful location. Great food. I would recommend this for any group of girlfriends (or guy friends) wanting a few days away from it all. Just remember - What happens at the ranch stays at the ranch! :)

By Gail: I've been to the Ranch three times now and have enjoyed it tremendously each time. The first time was with my husband to celebrate our anniversary; the second time we took the kids; and this last time was with a group of my girlfriends. We had a blast. I highly recommend the Crazy Horse Ranch as an ideal get-away to enjoy a weekend in the country. Great accomodations, great food, and great hosts!
