Rio Vista Lodge, El Fuerte

The rooms of the lodge are build around a beautifully landscaped patio area in the center of the rooms. There is no phone in any rooms but a phone in the office. There was a TV in my room and the remote to the TV was delivered to the room after I checked in. The lodge is 2 floors and there is no elevator. Some guests had geikos in there room but I didn't see one. My only complaint with the room was that the motel faces the town plaza and the church bells of the church in the plaza chimed every 15 minutes all night long. The rooms are air-conditioned. There is no restaurant with the lodge but there are restaurants nearby. It is near the center of town so the location is ideal. In the small town of El Fuerte, the lodge is good. El Fuerte is painting the building fronts and is making more efforts to attract tourists so there probably will be more motels in the area soon.
