The Tarragon, Cape Town

The Tarragon is a Luxury Serviced Self Catering Accomodation that we discovered over the internet. We were even more pleasantly suprised when we arrived. It has a breathtaking view of Hout Bay and is situated on top of a mountain. The various cottages are available individually or as group rentals and are all very nicely decorated and clean. There is a cleaning staff that services the cottages every day. The grounds are kept very neatly and there are koi fish ponds to amuse you. The closest beach is about 5-10 minutes driving distance or you can hang out at the beautiful pool. It is also the perfect honeymooner or family retreat - not meant for singles though.The only negative aspect was the wind - since it is located high up on the mountain, it can get quite breezy. We loved this place!
