The right place for me
I had a free week before returning to Britain from Santiago and I decided to fly to Punta Arenas as an attempt to visit the Chilean Patagonia for the first time without a clear plan. After six weeks in Bolivia and one in Argentina where I did voluntary work and visited friends I was poorly equiped for adventure. Alejandro, the manager at South beach B&B guided me through the organisation of a trip through Torres del Payne and Perito Moreno glacier. I found in South Pacific B&B a friendly. comfortable and secure place. The place is sited in an early XX century building at the centre of Punta Arenas and has carefully been decorated with paintings made by Alejandro's own family members and other authentic antiques that take you through the history of Punta Arenas and Patagonia. Although you share bathroom facilities you also do kitchen, terrace views over the roofs of Punta Arenas, maps and travel plans.I think the place is highly recommended for the adventurous traveller
