Royal de Cameron Hotel, Primero de Mayo

I visited the Royal de cameron on my own in May 2007, as soon as I arrived I was made welcome by the staff, they would go out of their way to answer any questions. I would return tomorrow if it was possible. My room was on the ground floor near reception, it was always very clean and it was always a pleasure to see the maid, she was very polite and always smiling, “little things like this make a visit to any hotel worth while”, I would always leave her generous tips everyday as the cost of staying at the de cameron was so cheap, the food was fantastic and I would try to return for every meal. waiting staff in the restaurants again were fantastic. I cant wait to return, my very best wishes to everyone there.

This will be our second trip to the De Cameron, and I cannot wait to get back. No glitter and glamor, just real Mexican feel and character. Food leaves something to be desired, but the ambience more than makes up for what the food lacks. Beach is wonderful, staff is excellent. This is not a kids resort. It caters more to adults and is quiet and peaceful. The beach is beautiful, and the walk to the fishing village north of the resort peaceful and relaxing, and in 15 minutes you have your own private town market to barter in without paying an arm and a leg to go on the city tour. Our last visit was a year and a half ago, and we are intending to book to go again in 2010.

Been there 4 years in a row. Planning next year now. Super staff, great shows, good food, 5 pools, and much more. Have never been disappointed. For the money you can't go wrong. If your looking to be pampered this is not for you, if you are a down to earth person you will love it.
