Value Place Austin (Round Rock), Round Rock

I suppose when I reserved reservations for this hotel I should have done some research. First off, if you have children there is nothing here for them to do. No breakfast in the morning, no pool, nothing! The location is not really by anything in walking distance except an IHOP and a small Shell gas station. The front desk employee's are not very friendly. It's like they want to check you in and get you gone. They want so much information from you when you check in. I thought it was ridiculous. THEN when you get to the room.....two small squares of hand soap to "get you started" and only 2 towels, a floor mat and 2 wash cloths. Really??? When I am staying for a week???!!! I think this hotel is more for people who do not have the means to get an apartment. It did not feel like a "regular" hotel. And last but not least when I checked in on the first floor there were "exterminators" knocking on everyone's door. I thought wow that cant be good. So day 3 of my stay what do you know....I saw a roach crawling around the sink. Really?? This place is not for me at ALL!
