Bkk sanctuary - hard to find
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/5/07
Finding a sanctuary of calm and sanity in Bkk aint easy, but Cozy Bangkok is it!!!
Based on a few internet reviews, I booked Cozy for wife and myself for 2 night stay. Everything is stylish and brand new inside. Well-designed and spacious layout. funky art on the walls and comfy furniture in common areas. WiFi for your laptop or inexpensive PCs in the lobby.
The couple who own and run Cozy Bangkok are genuine, kind, and extremely generous with advice and help calling around Bkk (we had errands to do).
Good laundry facilities... in fact they're prepared to help guests with almost any request. They have lots of hotel experience and it shows in their own establishment.
Only thing to be aware of is tricky location down a narrow lane to get there. Because taxi drivers don't usually have English you'll need to make sure your driver has a mobile so he can call Cozy for detailed directions.
However, once you get there, you'll have a great base to get to Chinatown and the the subway. Besides that you're only a short distance from Rama 4 where there's an abundance of cheap taxis.
