Horrible!
This is an apartment type facility located few miles from Disney on 192 W. While the inside decor is good and modern, the service and maintenance is horrible. It's called a resort but it has nothing that constitutes a resort except a swimming pool and a spa. The first day we got there, the bathroom shower was broken. We tried to call the service but the phone was not working (static, no voice). So I went to the office and had someone come up to the apartment to fix the bathroom and replace the burned out bulbs in the other bathroom. Soon we realized that the toaster is not working, did I mention the phone not working! According to the receptionist, an outside company has to come and fix the phone, which they never did, thanks god for the cell phones. The toaster was never fixed. Further, this is a facility where guests are encouraged to purchase groceries and prepare their own food, each apartment has a kitchen with oven, refrigerator, pots, and other appliances. So we went to the local Wallmart and spent $250.00 on groceries and filled the refrigerator. Every time I asked my wife for cold water, she kept giving me not so cold bottle of water and I kept complaining. Soon we found out that the refrigerator is not working. We called again and complained but no one came so a day later when we came back from Universal Studios, all the food had gone bad and the apartment was smelling like a rat's hole. HERE COMES THE BEST ONE! Once a person takes a shower using hot water, the hot water is gone for about 30 minutes so the second person has to wait for that long to take a shower. So if you have 4 people in the apartment, it will take 2 plus hours just to take showers and get ready for the parks, good luck doing two parks per day! By the way, there was no problem with the boiler or the pipes, according to the receptionist, "that's how it works wait for 30 minutes and the hot water will be back". If you have been to Orlando with children, you know that the nitty gritty makes or breaks the vacation. Before you know it, everyone is yelling at each other and stress takes over. TO AVOID IT ALL, FIND A PLACE WITH GOOD SERVICE/ MAINTENANCE, SERVICE IS EVERYTHING WHEN IT COMES TO ORLANDO. THANKS. N. KAHN. EAST MEADOW, NY. 02/18/2010.
