A Touch of Italy B & B, Port Clinton

Our stay was remarkable!. Debbie and Jim were so kind and caring. They truly love people and enjoy having guests. The B & B was beautiful and the birds and squirrels outside the picture window were most enjoyable to watch while eating our gourmet breakfast. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless. She provided information about Port Clinton with information where we could get special discounts. I would highly recommend staying at a Touch of Italy. It is like home!!

My girlfriend and I stayed at A Touch of Italy on June 3-5, 2010. We had a wonderful time! We truly were pampered by the Deborah! I surprised my girlfriend with the romance package that included a dozen beautiful red roses, a chocolate cake and a bottle of wine. We went to dinner at a local winery called Mon Ami. Upon our return to A Touch of Italy that evening, Deborah had turned down the sheets and placed rose petals on the bed. The next morning, Deborah made a wonderful breakfast…Her special Tuscan egg bake, sausage, fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables all grown in her backyard garden. She also provided us with a comprehensive packet of information and detailed maps on the Port Clinton area. The next morning, Deborah made an even better (hard to imagine!) breakfast of pancakes with homemade strawberry topping, sausage patties made with her homegrown herbs, Italian coffees, specialty teas and Deborah’s very own homemade grape juice made from her homegrown Italian grapes. We highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast, and I even purchased an additional night for my parents’ anniversary. There were so many personal touches that we appreciated very much. A Touch of Italy is impeccably decorated and everything has been thought of! The rooms are very clean and beautiful, and the gardens, porches and veranda are spectacular! Deborah went above and beyond to assure that we enjoyed ourselves.

Staying at A Touch of Italy B&B was a treat. My husband said when he made the reservations, he knew, just from the conversation with Debbie, we were going to be happy with this decision. He was right! The landscaping was impeccable, the house was clean, the breakfast was delicious and the hosts were most accommodating. We have stayed in a lot of B&B's and this is one of our favorites!

My husband and I enjoyed our first stay with Deb and Jim so much we decided to go again. We did not have plans this time, other than dinner and a movie in our room. Deb had a list of bands that were playing in the area just in case we decided to go out. When we returned from dinner, our bed was covered with rose petals! How romantic! Breakfast was again superb; pancakes with wild blueberry topping and fresh whipped cream! I don't know what is wrong with those 2 people who gave negative reviews. I can't tell you a single thing that Deb misses or should do differently. We have decided this will be at least a yearly getaway for us! Thanks Deb, for another great weekend!

I had a bachelorette party at A Touch Of Italy for my best freind. Deb and Jim were so accomidationg to all of us! We were treated like royality! They went over and beyond anything i would have ever expected! I cant wait to go back and stay again! This was so much nicer than staying in a hotel. I would defiantly recommend A Touch of Italy to EVERYONE!

My husband and I stayed there for a weekend when we were in town for Arts in the Park. The room was absolutely beautiful with a private bath and dreamy soft bed. Debbie and Jim were wonderful hosts, giving us all the information about the town and where we needed to go. She gave us great tips on places to eat and things to do after the show. Breakfast was a wonderful affair in their gorgeous dining room, complete with themed mural painted by our hostess. Definitely the only place to stay in Port Clinton. We'll be back again! PS I can't believe this got a bad review!

This place is great!! I cant believe any negative reviews AT ALL. We had the pleasure of staying the night after our wedding and the place is wonderful. Breakfast was plentiful and wonderful. The hosts were super friendly. Everything was simply perfect. You will not be disappointed and we will most certainly be back.

What A great B&B! Such a relaxing, fun weekend. Jim & Debbie are great hosts. We arrived Fri. evening and were cordially greeted by Debbie. We had our pick of the guest rooms..both were very inviting, comfortable and immaculate. After choosing our room we enjoyed a tour of the rest of the B&B. Debbie had dinner reservations already arranged for us at Mon Ami. After dinner we returned and sat outside on the porch with a glass of wine. Sat. a.m. we enjoyed a delicious breakfast casserole and fruit. After getting many great ideas of things to do in the area from Debbie we set out for the day. We returned that evening tired but relaxed. We enjoyed pleasant conversation with both Jim & Debbie. Sun a.m. we enjoyed another delicious and leisurely breakfast. We hated to leave. We highly recommend "A Touch of Italy B&B" especially if you enjoy comfortable surroundings and being pampered. We definitely enjoyed our stay and plan to return soon. Jim & Debbie, thanks again for a wonderful "weekend getaway."

Ciao Bella! A Touch of Italy Bed and Breakfast is a WONDERFUL place for a weekend stay! My boyfriend and I were guests in the Spring for our anniversary. Debbie and Jim treated us like royalty. Debbie provided us with all the information regarding the local attractions, and despite it being early Spring in Port Clinton, we still found plenty to do! Our room was cozy, we got the BEST night's sleep we ever had, and the BREAKFAST!! My goodness the breakfast!! Delizioso!!! We give it 2 YUMS up!! ;-) If you want coffee and doughnuts for breakfast, stay at a hotel. If you want a bunch of obnoxious, screaming kids running around you, stay at one of the water park resorts. But if you want romantic, relaxing accomodations with outstanding quality and service from your hosts, make your reservations at A TOUCH OF ITALY BED AND BREAKFAST!! We WILL be returning!!

Wow, I can't believe this place got a bad review. The hosts, Debbie and Jim, are two of the most gracious and accomodating people I've stayed with in a long time. They really went the extra mile to see that our stay was pleasant. The breakfast is very different, but terrific. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and comfortable and we went home feeling relaxed and pampered.
