TaNiTa (Lagoon) Resort, Udon Thani

This place is really special. Mr.Tanit has a great pride and affection on this resort of his own, and his warm, kind and joyful attitude make us happy during our whole stay. Traditional northern Thai style decoration and garden was also great enough to feel exotic , while feeling like staying another home as well. Authentic Thai food for breakfast was really delicious, and all the staff were very helpful and kind. It's somewhat far from the center of city, but we really enjoy to experience rural things around this area, and with the help of Mr. Tanit we didn't miss the touristic attration like Kantoc dinner and Sunday market. One of the best place I've ever stay. Highly recommendable!

We have had a lovely time at Tanita resort and received a warm and friendly service from Mr Tanit and his wife Antika. We recommend this place for those people looking for more traditional Thai hospitality, outside the rush of city (tourist) life. The resort is beautiful, tranquil, and culturally authentic. With the help of Mr Tanit, we saw major tourist attractions in the area, including some local places we would never have found.

This time my Cambodian friends and I went there mid of August. Seven of us rent the whole teak house like a family. It was so nice, waking up early morning with the noise of birds. When we walked out from the bed room, the first thing to see is the Ping river in front of our house. We swam in the swimming pool before Thai style breakfast. At night time after exploring Chiang Mai city, we had a great sleep without any noise of cars disturbed us. It was such a great time there. Waiting to go back there again.

Tanita resort is a beautiful pleace in Chingmai. We're very happy and funny with privacy time. It's Thai house and service. I tell myself I'll back to this place againg.

Atmosphere and friendly service. The place is silent and good for relaxation. It is close to the local market. So we close to the local people and don't feel like isolation. The room is cosy and clean.

I stayed here on 22-25th June 2007 Tanita is an oasis on the edge of Chiang Mai. Mr Tanit, Anthika and their staff are all very welcoming and eager to share their culture with anyone visiting, they make you feel as though you are a guest in their own home :) The teak housing is also a wonderful insight into thai culture. The accommodation, swimming pool and food are all a credit to those who provide it. I would not hesitate recommending it to anyone wanting somewhere to stay out of the the city centre :)

We discovered Tanita Resort on a Saturday morning bike ride along the Ping River. It was like finding a secret treasure! Fascinating Lanna-style teak houses were surrounded by tall shade trees, tropical plants and flowers. We enjoyed opening the many wooden shutters and folding doors to look out on the bright greenness, like colorful pictures on every wall. The atmosphere was romantic and quiet - uniquely Thai. All the houses looked onto to the tropical swimming pool with a little waterfall flowing into it. Our children enjoyed it a lot. The beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the service was friendly and gracious. We're glad we live in Chiang Mai so we can go back soon! The Rulisons

If you want to relax by private place like our family you should go to this place. Because you can do every thing you can eat every time that you want. Breakfast at 10.00 am.it's no problem swimming at 13.00 am. it's not hot because it has a lot of big trees in the garden around swimming pool. Go to Tanita Resort trust me.

I can wake up in the morning by birds singing. When I open the window I can see Ping river on my bed. You know it's very good time for me to stay hear. However it's has no sea.

Tanita resort is very nice place for me. It make me and my family very happy when we stay in rooms. I feel like my own home. But I have no home beautiful like this so I'll back again.
