Description

Every room in this nine-story hotel has its own private balcony, so you can step right out into Yokohama night and enjoy the view of the port area nearby. What's more, in July and August the hotel's roof is turned into a beer garden, where you can enjoy the summer nights with a frosty brew in hand. Establishing in 1984, the Star Hotel also has two restaurants and a bar on premise, as well as room service. Each room comes with a private bath/toilet, television, telephone, and dresser. In-room video is also available.

This place is a great place- period

I was a the new grand at $122 a night , I went next store to the star for 8400 yen ( 1/2 the price and much nicer. all rooms have a balcony and I am looking at the harbor , the rooms are clean and the staff is very polite. I lived in san francisco for 18years and have an HS degree from USF , I now live in Saint augustine beach . This place is a find and It is on the harbor , next to motomachi (like union st. SF )walking to china town .3 blocks, I have been traveling Japan now for 1 month and stayed in all types of hotels ( shinjudka prince is a dump , you would vomit ) Yes there are other nice hotels , but not in this location , they are downtown which is just another mall. They don't do english that well (which is why I had to give 4 for service - really not a big deal (welcome to Japan ) but they are very kind and an exceptional value.
