Cartagena Plaza, Cartagena

Few days before my travel, I entered this web and I stayed very worry about the reviews. BUT When we entered the hotel everything was very good, the view from my room was pretty. The hotel is well situated, the people that work in there is friendly. In fact is not a new construction but they are remodeling the hotel part by part. The food was good enough. It is true that there are a lot of informal people offering merchandise and city tours just in front of the hotel, but those people are not a part of the hotel, and it is a pitty but is the same thing in every latin country that you visit, in Mexico is still even worst so the hotel can not be guiloty for that. I met people from Argentina in that trip and they told me that they did not have any problem with the check in or check out. I had to pay 3 extra dollar because I drunk water and icecream from the minibar, that was totally correct. So I recomend the hotel and if you are going to spend some days there, in the momento of the check in you must tell to the receptionist what things are inclued in your plan and I am sure you are not going to have any problem.

The air conditioning did not cool the room to a comfortable sleeping temperature. Shower faucet nob was sitting beside the tub. Only 1 of 4 elevators worked on a holiday weekend. This meant 15-25 minutes to get downstairs. There was nobody in the business center from which to buy a password for internet access. Check out was complete chaos and took over 30 minutes. Even for a cheap beach weekend, this is NO bargain.

Hi! I realy liked my room, the only downside, was the air conditioning, whitch didn't work too good.... Location is perfect, just 5 min to the towncenter.

The Hotel exceeded our expectations. It is located in the heart of the new city near shopping, restaurants, banks, small casinos etc. ; we enjoyed the wonderful walks we took both in the mornings, but mostly in the evenings after dinner. The rooms are spacious, impeccable and thanks to the wonderful staff at reception our request for a great view was accommodated with a wonderful view of the city and the ocean. The restaurant hours were convenient, and the food was great; after the first few days we had to slow down and pace our selves. The entertainment was so much fun! there were dance shows, activities, dancing and the over all energy and personality of the staff was captivating (Boris, Sorelis, Giovanny, Cristian and the rest of the group too many to name) ... and we'd be remiss not to mention the "Rezak" Disco and its great bar staff. The overall safety and security of the hotel is amazing. You can't get better value for your money at this hotel, one night at the Jersey shore would never even offer half the service and experience and would cost three times as much. My husband and I don't like to visit the same vacation place twice, but we are certainly going back to Cartagena soon.

This is a fantastic place to stay. It is not the fanciest but it is the best value for a quality place. Remember, you are in Cartagena where most places cost you three times as much. The people are friendly, food is good the pool on the roof is great, the friendliness is all over. Cartagena is heaven on earth, it has the best beaches of the caribean, you can walk a mile into the sea walking on beautiful sand, snorkle, good food, great, great, great.

The staf was very friendly and helpful with anything that we needed, especially Tatyana. House keeping was nice and very trustworthy, we left our key in the door twice and staff was notified and waited for us to arrive. The food was excellent and the pool on the roof was a great way to start the morning before hitting the beach. Right on the beach easy access to everything. I would recommend this hotel for friends and I would go back myself. Jason Parsons

things that we loved from this hotel; the food,the cleanliness,the swiming pool,the beach just across the street,the people etc. i can't wait to go back. my dislikes: only one, one week is not enough.
