Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham Hattiesburg, Hattiesburg

I liked everything about this hotel. The room was very attractive, the bed was sumptuous, everything was clean and new. I called the hotel directly to make my reservation and got just as good a deal as was being offered online at hotels.com and priceline.com - plus I had the added benefit of being able to cancel with no penalty if I so desired. The lady that took my reservation was extremely helpful. When I asked for a smoking room and was told there were none, she accomodated me by placing me right next to an exit that featured a comfortable outside bench to sit on next to a lovely garden. My reservation was held for late arrival and I was warmly greeted upon check-in. The free continental breakfast was one of the best I've ever seen and included breakfast burritos, sausage and egg biscuits, bagels with cream cheese, donuts, cold cereal and more. A fountain in the dining area was available 24/7 and dispensed orange and apple juice, lemonade, coke, diet coke and other soft drinks, as well as ice. Coffee and decaf are also fresh and available around the clock. Free issues of USA Today are available at the front desk each morning. My housekeeper was amazing and accomodating. Free Wi-Fi is available in each room and a computer is available in the lobby complete with printer and paper. The lobby is attractive and inviting with several lovely sitting areas and a big-screen television. I paid $65 per night. I would definitely stay here again. Oh, and it's about 20 miles from Camp Shelby - not bad at all - with lots of good restaurants, a movie theater and a shopping center nearby.

Looks like new, service was good, bed comfortable and the room quiet. Only down side was the breakfast. The hot food was cellophane wrapped burrito or sandwich like found in gas stations, to be microwaved. Also cold cereal or toast. I've had some really good hot breakfasts at some Microtels (eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc) , but this was disappointing. Everything else was great.

This place is great, comfortable, nice, quiet and in a nice locations the rooms are great the best so far i have came by and i travel alot and have to stay in different Hotels and this one i recomend to you

From the very first time I walked into the lobby, the front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. They gladly changed my room to a first floor room. The cleaning staff was very friendly. The most outstanding thing and the most surprising thing about this Hotel was its CLEANLINESS. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The continental breakfast was substantial and there were snacks available (FREE) 24/7. It was located within easy walking distance to Olive Garden, and Long Horn Steak House. Across the street was a Wendy's and behind Wendy's, an Outback Steak house. You also have easy access to the major Highways and inner city. I would definitely stay here again. In fact, I will be returning to Hattiesburg in Oct. and I will stay at "Microtel" (WB, Charlotte, NC)

Nice cozy hotel. Very clean. Staff was very nice. Very nice beds. Good place to stop and sleep after long day of driving. Maybe not the best place for kids, no pool. Overall, very very nice CLEAN hotel and would stay here again.
