4 day Toronto trip 7/3/09 - 7/6/09
We picked up a rental car from National Airport from Dollar at about 2:15pm. We set out at about 3 pm after Carol had dropped off the truck at her job. We got to the Homewood Suites in Erie, PA about 10pm. It was a nice hotel. After grabbing something to eat, we settled in and crashed. The next morning, we had a nice good breakfast and then drove 3 hours to Toronto. We checked in at the Renaissance hotel (attached to the Rogers Center which is next to the CN tower). We got a good deal….$90/night plus $48 towards any meal). We then went to the Toronto zoo. We purchased a Toronto City Pass ...

We know that in this era of political correctness, the term ...
Niagara Falls / Toronto 3 day weekend Getaway 6/29 - 7/1 '07

Going this route was a bit nerve racking because we hit some one lane roads (mainly rte 219) along the way when it got dark, and I was nervous of approaching trucks. We drove for about 5 hours and got to the Royal Inn hotel we had reserved in Ridgway PA, around 11:30pm. The hotel was okay for just a resting place for the night. We set of at 9 am ...
