A long day of travel. 4.5 hours to Houston, 5.5 hours of book buying and airport exploration, and then 5.5 hours to Quito. We were happy to make it to our hotel, La Casa Sol, by 1 in the morning. At least the books were good! After a lovely sleep in our beautiful suite matrimonial at La Casa Sol , we sat down to a great breakfast of fresh fruit, breads and jam, coffee and fruit juice.
