Chile Hotels

Ola everyone! That's about the extent of my Spanish thus far (SP).......we don't start our course until Monday Jul 9. 6 hrs a day for 4 weeks, Mon to Friday. We had a typically crazy/eventful start to our trip. Qantas sent us a text on the a.m. of our flight from Sydney to Santiago saying that it had been delayed 10 hours. We rang to confirm and the Qantas phone help confirmed that this was the case............when we rocked up at the airport 1 hour after the original flight and 9 hrs early for the delayed one we discovered that is was a Qantas error and that our flight had actually gone on ...

For those that were wondering - we weren't on the plane in Madrid that crashed. Santiago is in Chile, which is in South America. Madrid is in Spain. I guess they do both speak Spanish though. We have had a crash since being here - but that is of a different kind. The kind where you have had no sleep on a 17 hour plane flight and then you hit your hotel room at 3:30pm and just.. well... crash. We ended up sleeping through till about 3am this morning, and then I was just a bit too restless to be stuck in bed while in a new city, so I tried to take some night photos from the fire escape and then ...
