Carnival in Salvador, we bought tickets to join the blocos "Balada". Basically what happens when you buy a ticket is you get a special shirt called a camarote which is your actual ticket, this shirt allows you to get inside the rope surrounding the band which is on top of a truck with huge speakers. Inside the rope is a bunch of other people who bought the camarote and just follow along with the band and dance for hours until the end of the parade. He asked. “I will be in 2 days” I replied. “I need a helicopter shot of Christ the Redeemer for 'Alias'”. Along with my experience in Salvador, Bahia... I knew I would be back. I’m prepping and planning for a feature that we’re hoping to shoot in Brazil in 2012. It seems like a long way away but in producti...
