I was so excided about this trip. My dad dropped me off at the San Francisco International airport and I was off on the biggest vacation of my life. I got some Australian currency and then when off to have dinner. I was surprised at the lack of good food at the international terminal at San Francisco International. Flew from Manchester (UK) to Singapore with Singapore Airlines. The flight was suprisingly enjoyable. Plenty of entertainment options on the flight with on-demand audio and video. It was a day flight so didn't need to sleep, which is a good job because I can't sleep on airplanes. It was roughly 13 hours out (13.5 hours back). Arrived in Singapore early morning. The first thing that hits you is the humidity. Within minutes outside your clothes are sticking to you. It was a nice relief though after the very long winter in the UK.
