May 19, we finally hit the road. Since we were 5 days late getting started we decided to skip the Oregon/Washington leg of our trip and headed straight to Dillon Montana. First stop was overnight in Reno to see Uncle Tak. We stayed in the Motorhome in front of his house. Set up a business telephone line at his place and took him out to dinner at the Nugget. Next morning, we left early and drove 600 miles to Idaho Falls. Spent the night in a rest stop on I15. Pretty quiet there (NO REEFERs) so everyone got a good night’s sleep.
