Up at 3:00am and out of the driveway at 4:00am. Stop for gas just a few miles outside out Wheeling,WV. Get on the Penn Turnpike near Washington,PA. We drive about another 4 hours and get off at Valley Forge Exit We head over to the Valley Forge visitor center and check out the artifacts. We then watch a short film and head out on the auto tour.Spend about 1 to 2 hours see the sites and then back in the car and head to the hotel.
