Pennsylvania Hotels

So, my Michigan friend is out, but I think myself and the ash are forging on to see her hometown. Oh, and I found out that my boy is going to be back home, as well, celebrating his 21rst birthday. I'm so there. Ash and I just bought our tickets to Philly. I'm super excited now. I have already checked out of my job and am now waiting impatiently to get to the airport. It looks like we will have bad weather flying up to Philly and possibly flying back if Hurricane Bill doesn't stay out in the Atlantic. We will get the outer bands for sure, which Ash and I might just get to Atlantic City early ...

Leave NYC at 7:15am. Park car by Edgar Allan Poe House at 8:55. Watch a short film, tour the house, walk out the back, go to the basement, relax in the sitting room and listen to Basil Rathbone and Vincent Price read excerpts of Poe's works. Buy a first day Poe stamped envelope. Very enjoyable experience. Guides in the house were very helpful and hospitable. There for about 50 minutes. Well on day 1 I got off work and picked up the Family at my mom's. We drove to the rental yard in Hayward and picked up the 32' Nap Wagon (more on this later). We got on the road at 12:45pm and were Eastbound and down. We headed south to Bakersfield on I-5, then east on 58 to I-15. We took on fuel in Barstow (46 Gals) and kept headin' east.
