Well.....what was originally forecast to be 29.5 hours ended up becoming 31.5 hours with a few delays thrown in.....and yes those extra 2 hours felt like 20 hours!!! Qantas really was the way to fly - no complaints from us, and being able use the Qantas lounges was great. We had a smooth transition through customs and imigration at LA and then an even easier exit at JFK in NY. The cabbie was easy to talk to and didn't try any of the so called shenanigans that some people write about. Also it wasn't as cold as we thought it might have been - more like a crisp Perth autumn night - it was really ...
