Nevada Hotels

So our annual trip to Las Vegas has begun. Our journey began when we left work on Thursday around four and headed into Bakersfield. The drive was not as good as when we went to LA in February because that trip was a fluke. On that trip we had ZERO traffic. We were the only ones on the road for most of the trip and it was wonderful. So we made it to our hotel in a little under four hours. After a long flight to Denver to Las Vegas, I was very exhausted from switching planes and waking up at 4 in the morning. At the airport, my mother's friend Auntie Yung picked us up and drove us to the Imperial Palace hotel. It was my dad's first time back to Vegas after 20-something years and he saw a lot of changes! The Imperial Palace entrance was pretty cool..the frontier looked like a parking lot, except it had decoration lights and a club right across, all under 1 roof. How cool is that? Etter fire måneders venting var det endelig tid for å dra til Las Vegas igjen. I fjor dro vi dit i slutten av mai for å gifte oss første juni. I år er målet å få sett og opplevd ting vi enten ikke rakk eller var for stresset til å få med oss i fjor. Forloveren vår i fjor, Arne, hadde dessverre ikke anledning til å dra dit sist gang. Nå er han imidlertid en del av reisefølget. For Arne startet lørdagen langt tidligere enn for oss. Han bor i Skien og måtte ta toget kl.4 om natten for å være på Gardermoen tidsnok.
