Surprised my wife with a trip to Disney for our 5 year aniversary in June. I had everything mostly booked in advance as far as flight, hotel, car service and tickets to the parks. We flew out of Boston at 7:30am and touched down in Orlando around 11. I booked a limo service to bring us from the airport to our hotel. We flew Jet Blue which was a pleasant flight. I watched Sportcenter on the tv while she slept. The tvs in the headrests are a definite plus for me. I work for the Department of Defense so we stayed at the Shades of Green Resort on Disney World property. Its a great resort. Reserved...

So anyway, then Lee comes in asking if we are alright, which of course we are. He said he jumped out of bed grabbed my 9 and headed out the garage door as soon as the shooting started. By the time he made it outside one of the shooters wa...

Typing this at 6 am in our hotel in Chicago – we should be in SLC, so we’re behind schedule before we’ve actually started! Quite a day yesterday and it already seems light years ago. Journey to Heathrow was fine, though there was quite a long delay in Luton which started to concern me. Anyway, I checked in and met Steve in Costa Coffee as planned. The flight was fine and we arrived in Chicago exactly on schedule. We walked through deserted corridors towards immigration with an ample 90 mins to spare before our flight to SLC. We then arrived in the immigration hall to see enormous queues awaiti...
