May 19, we finally hit the road. Since we were 5 days late getting started we decided to skip the Oregon/Washington leg of our trip and headed straight to Dillon Montana. First stop was overnight in Reno to see Uncle Tak. We stayed in the Motorhome in front of his house. Set up a business telephone line at his place and took him out to dinner at the Nugget. Next morning, we left early and drove 600 miles to Idaho Falls. Spent the night in a rest stop on I15. Pretty quiet there (NO REEFERs) so everyone got a good night’s sleep. Louisville, KY We started the trip on the way down with a trip the the Louisville Slugger Factory tour and Mueseum. It was a well spent 2.5 hour leg stretcher. Downtown Louisville. Decatur, AL -- what a GREAT PLACE for a family visit!! We spent two nights camping and three days in the Decatur area. Quick thoughts.. Decatur is a city of about 50,000 in the heart of the bible belt. We camped at the city owned...
