We made it through security with no problems and then made our way to the gate. So far, so good, but soon after we sat down, a voice over the intercom tells us that there are mechanical problems so the flight will be delayed. This is no good. It took forever to get to Hawaii. We left out of Tampa, Fl early in the morning and headed towards Atlanta. Once we got to Atlanta, I thought we would never make it to Hawaii. We were scheduled to fly to California and then off to Hawaii. We boarded the plane but never took off. We had to de-board the plane and had to wait for another plane. We knew if we waited too long we would miss our flight in California, so we waited in line and we were able to catch a direct flight to Hawaii. 9 hours long.
