District of Columbia Hotels

Woke up around 5:30 to rassle the family together and to get down early for breakfast (I had read how crowded it could get at the Embassy Suite's free breakfast buffett, so wanted to beat the lines). After breakfast, we headed out into the bitter cold - at least for us Texans, it was bitter! First stop was the White House, which was not a bad walk from the hotel. Washington DC a huge city and District of Columbia is well known city among all the tourists. Everyone have a dream to visit this city because it is home of many large parks where tourists found biking, hiking, and more activities. Secondly, this city is capitol of United States which provides a lot of sightseeing which are historical and memorial sight. Well we actually started out on Monday 4/27 from Union station in Chicago(we got there a little early so we got to reenact The Untouchables scene on the union station in our heads. You know the scene with the out of control baby buggy and Andy Garcia's character taking out the bad guy . We all decided to take Amtrak to Washington DC.
