Best. Trip. Ever. Cross Country Road Trip - 08/08
Friday, 8/1 - Well, after many months of planning, the day has finally arrived! We left the house at exactly 4:44pm and got on the road. The hotel is right in the middle of town with restaurants and shopping all around. Intercontinental SF is very nicely fashionably decorated. We just went around the block to have a quick Japanese dinner. Then we met with ...
Summer Trip 2009
Quote of the day: "Patty... I love you, but it's past lunch time." -Joab A good first day, although we barely fed the children (or ourselves). Left the house around 8:30am. It felt weirdly normal. Arrianna wrote about the Boy's incessant talking and suggested leaving him on the side of the road with a sign, "Free Kid: Beware". We drove past some beautiful swamps, rivers, and little villages. Joab liked pointing out "dilapidated" houses and barns along ...
