We met up at The Hacienda hotel and pretty much set off on our way to Big Sur. This was the longest driving day which probably worked out well as we spent most of the journey getting to know other people in the group. On the way we stopped off to see a colony of Elephant Seals. The landscape was incredible; its not hard to see why the Pacific Coast Highway is seen as one of the most scenic drives in the world.
