Thursday, 09-20-07 From Van Nuys, California, through Nevada, Arizona & stopping in Cove Fort, Utah. We left Van Nuys, California about midnight Thursday 09-20-07 right outside of Nevada we pulled off the highway & went to sleep. Yeah! Got up and got the car loaded and the DVD players ready. Man, it's hot!! Met Pat in town and got some breakfast. We were headed out around 9 am, exactly the time I wanted to get going. We got to Bay Minnette around 12:30, we detoured around a train on some tracks and took a different route that added a few miles, but it was okay! Our trip to Gulf Shores: 7:00 AM Headed out from Little Rock, AR Tuesday morning. We detoured over to Monroe, LA, to see a friend of his at University of Louisiana Monroe. 11:00 AM ate at a local Cajun restaurant called Boardreaux's. the food was great, but very greasy. I guess that is what Cajun food is though. I had a shrimp po-boy and crawfish etouffee, and Tim had Jambalaya. 6:00 PM Arrived in Gulf Shores, AL.
