Easy trip to Puerto Vallarta and a quick drive from the airport. We learn that it costs $20 to get from the Airport to our hotel, but are told that when we go from our hotel back to the airport it will only be $5! We settle in, have a good lunch at the hotel and get ourselves geared up to relax. Not something that we're very used to! We headed over to the Marina for dinner. It's a great spot about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Tons of restaurants to choose from - so great to have that nearby so that we didn't have to eat at the hotel the whole time. After some research (and quite a bit of indecisiveness on my part. I hate making decisions) my hubby and I decided to spend this year's vacation on a Norwegian Cruise. Neither of us have cruised before; I was raised backpacking and tent camping and he was raised beach camping, so we didn't know what to expect but figured it was an experience we should add to our growing list of adventures together. I was a little worried about getting stopped and being searched there but we managed to make it through with no hassles. My friend pushed the button and it was green and the security guy waved us both through- yes! Then we wandered for the front of the airport and found the bus that our group was taking to the hotel.
