Packing and Boston Logan Airport Today is the day my mom and I are leaving for Scotland for a nineteen day vacation! I took today off of work and I spent it running around like mad! I dislocated my elbow on August 1st in an ATV accident so this will be an interesting trip. I am just out of the Bledsoe brace that I had to wear 24/7 and now my arm is weak and sore and I have to be careful not to lift anything heavy. San Francisco International Airport We arrived at SFO three hours before our flight to allow time for security check. The security was strict. Our carry-on items were checked the second time at the gate before boarding. Our BA flight departed SFO around 5:20 p.m. It was delayed for 30 minutes because two passengers did not get on the plane and their luggage had to be off loaded. The taxi arrived and the trip to the Harrogate train station was £4. The train to York was eight minutes late, but we were thankful that it wasn’t too crowded and we were able to get seats and stow our luggage comparatively easily. We had to cross the tracks to get to our next train in York . We tried to get the lift, but we had in our minds that we had to go up and the lift was only going down, so we thought it was malfunctioning (we now know that there is a tunnel to get to the other set of tracks, so we would have had to take the lift down).
