Jamaica Hotels

I wanted to write a quick review about Jamaica because you hear so many poor reviews and bad things about Jamaica. I have to say that it was one of the highlights of our trip. The reason being is because of our private tour guide. We booked a tour with Courtney Taylor. It was $15 per person (we didn't have kids w/ us so check on that). I didn't want to do an organized tour. I wanted to go to the falls, get lunch at an authentic Jamaican restaurant and maybe do some sightseeing or shopping. Day 1-- Land in Montego Bay, customs, and Sandals Inn We landed in Montego Bay and stood in a VERY long line to go through customs. Once we were through we were guided to an area to wait for our bus to Sandals Inn. While waiting, of course we were approached to buy some "ganja". We declined! Finally our bus arrived. We were the only couple going to this Sandals resort, everyone else seemed to be headed to the Montego Bay Sandals resort. We took a short drive, a crazy drive, to the resort.
