Working with John Robshaw again was something I had hope for since I first produced a segment about the amazing textile designer several years ago. When I received the call from Travel Channel to do a profile on people who travel for work, John was the perfect choice, since he creates most of his textiles in the beautiful Indian city of Jaipur. The first time I came to visit Halong, unfortunately the weather was wet and foggy because of rains so I could not see the view of Halong Bay . This time, sunny days, humor guide and funny fellow travelers makes my trip much more joyful. We both had Thursday off, but man was it hectic. It was all about buying last minute travel necessities, getting the house clean, getting our hair did, and a million other errands. Then we stayed up late figuring out what was getting checked vs carried on. But that didn't dampen our excitement!! Now to the present. Today is the big travel day.
