Situated on the banks of the Mississippi River, each rustic cabin will sleep up to three or four people and includes a queen-size bed, futon or daybed, fireplace, private bathroom, cable TV, a VCR, air conditioning, a kitchenette, and docking.
We drove 3 1/2 hours to spend 2 nights in the Mississippi. There was hair on the pillows and the bedding did not look clean. There is no management on site, so you have to call and wait for someone to help you. We told them the cabin was dirty and they sent someone to change the bedding but they did not clean. My husband killed 12 spiders and 2 earwigs inside the cabin and I could not sleep, thinking about all the spiders inside the cabin. We might as well have been sleeping outside. There were ants in the kitchen also. When we got there and saw how dirty the cabin was we asked for our money back and they refused. We spent one night and left forfeiting our second night payment because it just wasn't worth it.
Cabin was dirty. No view of river. RV park and metal building behind cabin. No place to sit in Cabin 2. Queen sized bed in the living room. Paid $275 for two nights. No refund policy so you are stuck. The website is VERY misleading.
We took one look at these cabins and turned around and left. They were filthy, dirty and in an advanced state of disrepair. There was rusted junk and garbage thrown all over, you cannot see the Mississippi and they are about 10 feet from a busy highway. One of the three cabins we reserved smelled so terribly of gas that we couldn't even walk in. We were refuse a refund and contested the charge with the credit card company.
