Excellent service that gives real value for your money

Trafalgar cottage provided one of the best services available for accommodations of its kind. My partner and I were welcomed by its warm host in the Tagbisaan port (it was rainy and Cagban port was temporarily closed); he thoughfully held a makeshift welcome sign with my name written on it. He offered to take our bags and looking at his thin frame (no offense, Kuya Joel) we decided against it and negotiated our tricycle fare to the vicinity.
Our room has a soft wicker hammock with a small half-kitchen right on the patio. It is modestly equipped with tableware and kitchen basics sans the stove for food prep. Inside is a 6" double mattress, two pillows (could use replacement though), blanket, stand fan, a thick towel, basic open closet and a smallish quaint bathroom. Once I got to the bathroom, it cemented my decision that the place is a winner. It smelled of nothing but CLEAN; it has a small bar of Safeguard soap and a roll of tissue. Not a spot of mildew can be seen by the naked eye.
I am a frequent traveler and I have been to many budget inns and cottages fit for backpackers around the country and some SE Asian countries and I can definitely say this is one of the best I have been to. The English in their signages is not only passable, it is grammatically correct. They have a map of Boracay tacked by the door of each room which is a very thoughtful gesture.
The staff is quick and willing to attend to each guest's requests. One of them even walked us to the beach (White Beach is only 2 minutes walk and the main road plus a medical clinic is only 1 minute from the vicinity)and pointed out stores where we can score MORE discounts by just dropping "Trafalgar".
Trafalgar's upkeep is a notch or two below being immaculate. For P500 per night per room for two persons, it gives the best value for every Peso paid.
