Tres Rios Resort, Glen Rose

Avoid this place. We joined in 2009 and none of the things they promised have actually happened. They just called me about a ditz invoice that will be sent out in December and due in January. They said if we didn't pay it they would take it to a higher authority. Apparently they are strapped for money. The employees are rude, the facility is nasty and dirty and the amenities are non-existant. I wouldn't even want my dog there for fear of what they might catch. I would like to hear from other people that have had similar experiences with Tres Rios.

Rv camped there a few times....lovely place...during the summer the 3 rivers that converge there are great for cooling off..and the autumn is great for 'smores ! Nice staff...always available when you have questions.... clean? yes wifi? yes gonna go again? YES! -introidum

We had stayed at Tres Rios years back and thought we would give it another try. The differences were like day and night. From the time we pulled up till we got to a site, the change was so much that I felt like I had not ever been here before. The office was busy with new arrivals but dealt with us very friendly and got to us as quickly as could be. The maintenance man came and escorted us to our site, helped us back in to our site, asked us questions about what we liked and offered suggestions. He took the time to pick us the best site available and made sure we were all set. The park itself was much greener and cleaner than I had remembered and I think they remodeled some of the buildings. Our site was level and shady and not too far from all the parks activity areas. The pool was great and the river was as pretty as I had remembered. It is a members only resort now with some public sites as well. We are not members but we were treated just as if we were. On our second day the maintenance guy stopped by to make sure we were doing well and had all we needed. We will definitely be back!!!

This is a great place to stay at. The campgrounds are very well kept.The staff is very friendly and helpful. Kim does a excellent job with activities. Everyone should try this palce out.
